"Let Our Hearts Burn Within Us..... "
The logos are everywhere. The Church is wildly chattering about it. So what is this Ablaze! thing all about?
Ablaze! is a new initiative of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod through LCMS World Mission. The mission of this program is to “share the Good News of Jesus Christ with 100 million unreached or uncommitted people by the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in 2017.”
Dr. Gerald Kieschnick, President of the LCMS, explains “This is not a mission we invented; it is a mission we inherited.” However, the Ablaze! program was developed to ignite a profound movement of believers witnessing their faith in their Lord and Savior.
